About the photographer
Koda Photography first got the ground running while taking a Digital Photography class at Eastern Washington University during Fall of 2015. I learned much of what I know and that a good photo can be easily taken with the right eye and patience. Every weekend since then, I would take my Jeep and drive out into the woods, finding new locations to capture the beauty. Living in the small college town of Cheney, it became easy to just drive out 20 minutes and immediately be away from the city lights and feel like civilization was miles and miles away. It was relaxing and became my favorite past-time.
The name, Koda Photography, came from my first owned dog, Dakota, who passed away during my second year of college. He was the accompaniment during my first photo shoot where I was the subject, and I carry his memory with me every day.
